Who we are

Founded by Dora Yuan and Yiwei Lu in 2024 , The Wuhan C.Art Festival (Wuhan Contemporary Art Festival 武汉当代艺术节) is an international exhibition platform dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging contemporary artists.

What it is

It is an art festival that breaks traditional artistic boundaries and integrates diverse cultures. Through a wide range of formats—including artist exhibitions, theatrical performances, live music, dance workshops, artist forums, fashion shows, and more—the C.Art Festival goes beyond presenting art for passive viewing. Instead, it engages all the senses through interactive experiences, making art a part of life.

Where it is

The inaugural C.Art Festival took place on Garden Avenue, Wuhan, from October 1 to October 5. It transformed a public parking garage into a large-scale exhibition, turning each parking space into a booth where artists showcased their works. The festival attracted over 7,000 visitors and garnered millions of views online.

C Art Festival will return from May 1-5, 2025!

This year, with an exhibition space of over 3,000 square meters, the festival provides an expansive platform for artistic creation and interaction. We are inviting 60 artists, curators, and gallerists from around the world to participate.

More than just an exhibition, C Art Festival is a deep cultural dialogue within the city. Through the power of art, it connects people with urban spaces, tradition with contemporary perspectives, and local creativity with global discourse. Bringing new energy and innovation to Wuhan, the festival continues to be a driving force in the development of contemporary art.
